Yesterday In Country Music History

Since we had to be off yesterday, I thought I would mention three significant birthdays for January 30.

In 1931, Harold Morrison, banjo player and comic was born. For Wilburn Brothers fans, Harold was a regular on the Wilburn Brothers show.

In 1937, Jeanne Pruett was born. Her hit, "Satin Sheets", has to be one of the best country songs of all time.

In 1938, Miss Norma Jean was born. After her stint on "The Porter Wagoner Show" she dropped off the radar, but she is still a great singer, and released a new album just a few short years ago.
