January 31 in Country Music

In 1987, Dan Seals hit Number One on the country charts with "You Still Move Me". Though it does not have as much "country" as most of the hits that we spotlight, it is still a great song about an old flame.

In 1970, "A Week In A Country Jail" by Tom T. Hall gained the top spot on the Billboard charts.

In 1967, "There Goes My Everything" by the Jolly Greene Giant, Jack Greene, was still at Number One on the charts. Jack Greene won CMA Single of the Year for it, and Dallas Frazier won Song of the Year.

In 1953, "No Help Wanted" by the Carlisles made it to Number One on the charts.
